Course Outline

The course takes place over 13-15 Saturdays.

As part of the course, you will be required to complete some exercises and do some reading at home. Therefore, you must own a functional laptop or desktop; tablets and smartphones will not be accepted. If you do not have a working computer, please wait for the next class to obtain one.

You will be exposed to using SQL commands to manipulate data and able to run simple to mid-level complex queries.

By the end you will be able to:

  • > Write basic SELECT statements including wildcard characters and comparison operators.

You will learn Python programming concepts and language.

Apache Spark is a lightning-fast cluster computing designed for fast computation.

The curriculum is based on the ISTQB Testing Foundation syllabus covering SDLC, Testing methodologies, Functional testing, statics and dynamic testing, Type of testing such System testing, Integration Testing, End to end testing, System Integration Testing, Exploratory Testing, Sanity Testing, Skoke Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc.

Data Engineering (Python & Apache Spark)
